🧩 The Chrome extension is the optional way to run ProNoto's teleprompter — useful if you want it inside a normal browser tab instead of going to pronoto.ai directly. (You don't need it for Picture-in-Picture — that's built into the web app.)
📥 Installation steps
🌐 Chrome Web Store → ➕ Add to Chrome → 📌 Pin it → ▶️ Start prompting
1️⃣ Open the ProNoto extension listing on the Chrome Web Store.
2️⃣ Click Add to Chrome, then confirm the permissions prompt.
3️⃣ Pin it to your toolbar (click the puzzle-piece icon, then the pin next to ProNoto) so it's one click away.
4️⃣ Click the icon, sign in with the same email you use on the web, and your notes and scripts sync automatically.
🖥️ Extension vs. web app — which do you actually need?
Short version: the web app is the complete product (full screen + Picture-in-Picture over any other app). The extension is purely a convenience — teleprompter inside a regular Chrome tab. Most people never need to install anything at all.
